In 1994 when we started our CD-ROM recording service bureau, the number one priority was to study, attend seminars and learn everything we could about the technology of the Compact Disc. To this day we are still learning as new variations on the technology come to life. There is one thing that is still true...we know CD-ROM & DVD.

Pre-mastering

We now have several pre-mastering stations and can make any kind of PC, Mac or Hybrid Disc. We can accept data on CD-ROM, DVD, over the internet, Zip drives, Jazz drives, 8mm Exabyte tape, 4mm DAT tape, SyQuest 88&44 Meg drives, SCSI hard drives FireWire drives, USB drives or your "whatever" peripheral (if we can borrow it for a day). Anyone who has made a few CD or DVD "coasters" can attest to the fact that burning a disc is not as simple as the advertisements lead you to believe. Clicking "Next", "Yes", and "OK" through a pre-mastering software may get a disc made, but the software developers chose a particular kind of disc for the default settings. It may work fine on your machine. You made it, but what about your customer or client's machine?

Is that the kind of disc you want? "Why did the replicator/duplicator have to "fix" it and charge extra? Why do the icons not show up on the Mac version? Why does this thing take so long to open? None of my other discs take this long. How come I can read it on some computers and not others? When I burn a video DVD and take it to Best Buy and try it on their players (you do do this don't you?), it dosen't work." If any of the above sounds familiar fear not, there is IMAGITRAX.

Duplication

You cannot get duplicates faster or with higher quality than you can at IMAGITRAX. Our standard duplicate costs include color printing on the disc or matte or glossy label. We also offer many packaging options to complete your project, including standard jewel cases, clam shells, slimline cases, paper sleeves, vinyl sleeves, mailers and of course, if you have a special need, we can handle that, too. And, as a matter of policy at IMAGITRAX, there are no hidden costs.

We have been involved with SONY Corporation in helping to develop their SDS-C400 Duplication system. They are interested in us because we are able to bring real world experiences to their lab environment. Since we have been working together, the system now records all types of CD-ROM including XA, Mode1 Form 2, Mode 2, Video CD, and Audio. It also has a very robust disc verification routine that can be used if trouble arises.

IMAGITRAX offers complete replication services and the fastest turnaround times available. We have very competitive prices and personal service that is second to none. Our manufacturing process allows you to begin making discs while you are still working on the printed artwork. This allows for fewer delays in delivery. Of course, no one ever takes advantage of this feature. Artwork is always done correctly the first time, right?
